Theresa “Tracy” Wacek Siegfried, 95, of Redwood Falls died Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Sunwood Good Samaritan Care Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 4, 2014 from St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Redwood Falls with burial to follow in St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery, Olivia. Visitation will be held on Monday, from 9 until 10:30 a.m., at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Redwood Falls. Arrangements are with Nelson-Martin Funeral Service of Redwood Falls. Theresa Marie Wacek Siegfried, the daughter of August and Augusta (Steinhaus) Mude, was born April 7, 1919 in Woodworth, North Dakota. As a result of the severe drought and subsequent “dust bowl” years, the family relocated to a farm near Morgan, Minnesota in the 1920s. Tracy grew up on the farm and received her formal education in the nearby country school. She had beautiful handwriting and won several penmanship awards in elementary school....
