Randall "Randy" L. Grunke

Randall “Randy” LeRoy Grunke, 63, of Morton, died Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at his home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 17, 2018 from St. Luke’s Lutheran Church of Franklin. Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 am Monday at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Franklin with Burial in Mount Hope Cemetery, rural Eden Township, Brown County, Minnesota.

Randy Grunke, the son of LeRoy and Evelyn (Kern) Grunke, was born June 14, 1955 in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota. He graduated from Franklin High School in 1973. Then later graduated from Minnesota West Technical College.

Randy married Judy Ann Teichert December 2, 1978 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church of Franklin and were blessed with 3 children.

Randy had a passion for farming and his livestock. His greatest accomplishments and pride were for his business ‘Randy’s Plumbing and Heating’, serving Franklin and surrounding areas. While living in Danube he worked for the City of Danube. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening, canoeing, camping, making apple juice, and jeep cruising. He loved spending time with his grandkids.

Randy was a past board member of the Annual KMS Ride and a past member of Franklin Fire Department.

Randy is survived by his 3 children- Mandi (Al) Ahrens of Morton, Keith (Monde) Grunke of Morgan, Mallory (Jordan) Albu of Redwood Falls; Special friend Cathy Malvin of Danube; 11 grandchildren- Kyson, Kyler, Emily, Jesse, Gabe, Milli, Hazel, Easton, Landen, Jayce and Jensen; Parents- LeRoy and Evelyn Grunke; Siblings- Linda (Larry) Hilgert of Bird Island, Brenda (Jan) Severson of St. Paul, Cindy (David) Mumme of Redwood Falls, Debbie (Roger) Rooney of Cottage Grove and Jeff Grunke of St. Cloud and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy on April 6, 2005 and her parents, Vernon & Adeline Teichert.
