Patricia Ann Slettedahl

Patricia Slettedahl, 70, of Redwood Falls died Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Sunwood Good Samaritan Care Center in Redwood Falls. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 21, 2012 from Nelson-Martin Funeral Chapel in Redwood Falls with burial to follow at Redwood Falls Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 10 until 11 a.m.

The family requests memorials be directed to the American Cancer Society.

Patricia Ann Slettedahl, the daughter of Hubert Mathias and Rosemary Margaret (Stiehn) Hahn, was born September 27, 1941 on the family farm in Charlestown Township, Redwood County. She grew up in the Morgan and Clements area.

On January 9, 1964, Patricia married James Slettedahl. He preceded her in death in August 1994. Previously, Patricia was married to John R. German; he also preceded her in death.

Patricia was a homemaker. In her spare time, she loved to crochet and also enjoyed fishing. Most of all, Patricia cherished the time she could spend with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons Anthony (Charity) Slettedahl of Clements, and John (Carol) German of Delhi; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her brothers Anthony (Elaine) Hahn of Montana, and Richard Hahn of Redwood Falls; and her sister Clara Friese of Redwood Falls. She was preceded in death by her husbands James Slettedahl and John German, one son, and three sisters.
