In Loving Memory: Obituary for Patricia Mae Pendleton "Krall"

Redwood Falls, Minnesota - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our Patricia, who departed this world on June 2nd, 2023, at Parkview Senior Living in Belview, Minnesota. Patricia was a devout Catholic, a loving wife, a cherished mother, a compassionate sister, a treasured grandmother and great-grandmother, and a wonderful friend to those who knew and loved her dearly.

Born on July 23rd, 1937 in Antigo, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Edward and Clara Krall. Patricia attended Antigo Schools, graduating in 1955.

She met her husband Marvin when he was stationed at Antigo Air Force Station and they married on September 19th, 1955, in Menominee, Michigan. She spent her life raising her daughter Debra, working as a bank teller, and later at the Interpretive Center. After moving frequently over the years, Patricia and Marvin retired to Morton, Minnesota in 1990 and spent the next two decades traveling the U.S. and spending time with their family. Patricia was active in the Council of Catholic Women and served as Region 5 President.

Patricia's greatest joy in life was in being a grandmother to Breea, Rebecca, Daniel, and Eric. As their #1 cheerleader, she supported them through Baptisms, First Communions, Confirmations, Graduations, and Weddings. Patricia was rich in the love she would show her family. This love was shown by the food she put on the table, the stories she would tell her grandchildren, the gifts she would bestow upon her friends and family, the patience she would have to listen to whatever was happening in your life, and the wisdom she would share on whatever was troubling you. Her grandchildren always looked forward to visiting Grandma's house because there was always something delicious cooking in the oven. They enjoyed learning how to play the guitar, putting on plays for their grandparents, shopping at the Morton penny candy store, playing a fun card game of Smear, and listening to a spooky story right before bedtime.

She is survived by her Son-in-law, Tom Lemm of Eagan, Minnesota; Grandchildren, Air Force Colonel Breea Lisko (and Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Scott Lisko) of Alexandria, Virginia, Daniel Lemm (and Leah Lemm) of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, and Eric Lemm (and Rebecca Eich-Lemm) of Phoenix, Arizona; and Great-Grandchildren Rebecca Lisko, Tyler Lisko, Marvin Lemm, and Edward "Teddy" Lemm.

She is preceded in death by her Husband, Marvin Pendleton; Daughter, Debra Lemm; Granddaughter, Rebecca Lemm; numerous brothers and sisters; and many close friends.

In accordance with Patricia's wishes, a Catholic Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 13th from St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Redwood Falls, Minnesota. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior at the church. She will be buried on June 14th, 2023, next to her husband Marvin at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The Nelson-Hillestad Funeral and Cremation Service of Morgan and Redwood Falls are in charge of the arrangements. E-mail condolences may be sent via www.nelson-hillestad.com.
