They spent many summer days attending parades with Charlie's restored tractors. Marlys loved photography from her old Brownie camera to the present day. She always had a camera in her hands.

Family was paramount to Marlys, and she found so much joy in being with her nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She treasured each moment spent with them. She loved them all.

Marlys was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Margaret Hammerschmidt; as well as her brother, Allan and sister-in-law Mary Jane Hammerschmidt. She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Ludewig of Morgan, numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Marlys M. Ludewig will be remembered for her kind heart, love for family and friends, and passion for photography. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
