Marcella Simning, 80, of Morton died Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at New Ulm Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from Nelson-Martin Funeral Chapel in Redwood Falls with burial to follow in the Morton City Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m.

Marcella Mae Simning, the daughter of Frank and Bertha Kuglin, was born June 4, 1934 in Redwood Falls. She grew up in Morton and graduated from Morton High School.
On April 23, 1954, Marcella married Don Simning and they made their home in Morton. Marcella was employed at ADC in Fairfax for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed camping, snowmobiling and fishing with Don, and spending time with her family.
Marcella is survived by her children Donna (Stan) Berg of Zimmerman, Debra Gresch of Morton, Lisa (Clair) Butcher of Willmar, Kris (Pat) Borth of Rochester, and Velma (Scott) Simning of Redwood Falls; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Don in 2006; son John Simning; and daughters Janet and Marylou Simning.
