Kevin Karl Zieske, the son of Calvin and Rose (Bernardy) Zieske, was born February 22, 1960 in Redwood Falls, Minnesota, where he also attended high school. Kevin married Laurie Burdick in 1986 in Redwood Falls, together they lived in Redwood Falls and then moved to Morgan. Kevin worked at Schultz Homes for 25years and Jackpot for another 10 years until retiring in 2019.

Kevin Was the youngest of his siblings. He acquired many nicknames over the years, Skee dog being his favorite. In his younger days, you could find Kevin behind the wheel of a racecar or at the track. He often told stories of the vehicles he sold for twenty dollars or traded for a case of beer, which would be worth a small fortune today. He was a handyman; from electrician to drywall, he knew it all... and he knew what motor was in any given vehicle.

He enjoyed snowmobiling with his buddies; 300 miles in a day wasn't uncommon in his riding days.

Kevin liked to talk, you know the saying, "Who put a quarter in him?" He could talk a person's ear off. He drag-raced his Camaro in Grove City for a few seasons. Let the Good Times Roll by the Cars would play on a cassette while driving there. He scored a handful of trophies with his quick foot. Kevy wasn't much of a salesman. If an item was ten dollars, he'd offer it to you for five... or even just give it to you.

He enjoyed playing board games with his kids; Scrabble and Marbles being his favorites. Kevin adored his grandchildren and held on as long as he could for all of them. He always told people he had nine lives. After a long, difficult battle with COPD, he can finally breathe.

He is survived by his wife , Laurie; children, Braxton Zieske of Morgan and Amber (Kenneth) Wolmutt of Lamberton; brothers and sisters, Darrell (Lynnae) Zieske of Alexandria, Perry (Joan) Zieske of Westbrook, LaNae (Art) Lange of Hector, LynDa (Mark) Bethke of Bismark, ND; Sister in-laws, Joyce Zieske of Renville, Ellen Zieske of Granite Falls and Shirley Zieske of Danube; grandchildren, Bremmen Roth-Zieske, Lacie Wolmutt, Raini Wolmutt, Faith Wolmutt and Dog: Maddie. He is preceded by his three brothers, Arlen, Darius and Dennis.

In his loving memory.
