Jerome “Jerry” Malecek, 84, of Morgan died Monday, January 19, 2015 at Gil-Mor Manor in Morgan. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 26, 2015 from St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Morgan. Burial, with full military honors, will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 25, 2015, from 4 until 7 p.m., with a 6:30 p.m. prayer service, all at Nelson-Martin Funeral Home in Morgan. He grew up on a farm near Bechyn and received his formal education in Henryville Township country school.
