Jeffrey Donald Haas

Jeffrey D. Haas, age 71, of Morton died unexpectedly on Friday, July 17, 2026 at his home in Morton. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Jeffrey D. Haas, was born on December 10, 1954, in Redwood Falls to the son of Donald and Mary (Jacobus) Haas. Jeff graduated from Morton High School in 1973, he furthered his education at Vo-Tech Business School, equipping himself with skills that would serve him well throughout his career.

A man of steadfast work ethic, Jeffrey dedicated over 30 years to the delivery of propane, working for respected companies such as Lakes Gas, Harvestland, and Meadowland. Throughout these decades of service, he built lasting relationships, demonstrating reliability and earning the respect and trust of his colleagues and customers alike. Jeff enjoyed visiting with his friends over a cold beer at the local tavern.

Jeff’s is survived by his brother, Jared Haas of Morton. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Haas; his mother, Mary Haas; and his brother, Jay Haas.

The loss of Jeffrey D. Haas will be felt by all who had the privilege to know him, both in his professional endeavors and through his personal connections. His commitment to his work and his loyalty to his family and community will be remembered and honored.
