Frederick J. Lamp, 87, of Prescott, Arizona died August 20, 2011. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the Morgan City Cemetery in Morgan. Lamp, the son of Daisy and Eli Lamp, was born January 18, 1924, in Morgan. He was their only child. On January 12, 1945, Frederick married Jeanette Gilland of Morgan. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theater aboard the USS Marvin H McIntyre. After his discharge, he attended Hamline University in St. Paul and graduated with a business administration degree in 1947. Upon returning to Morgan, he joined the family business, Lamp Chevrolet. In 1965, the family moved to Castle Rock, Colorado. Frederick and Jeanette relocated to Prescott, Arizona in 1992 where they lived until his passing.
