Elsie E Kruse

Elsie Esther Kruse, age 99, of Redwood Falls, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at St. John's Lutheran Home in Springfield, MN. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 11, 2026, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Sanborn, MN, with burial to follow in the Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held two hours prior to her service from 9 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church.

Elsie Esther Kruse, daughter of Edward and Metha (Koch) Kruse was born May 17, 1927 in New Avon Township, Redwood County, Wabasso, Minnesota. Elsie was baptized June 6, 1927 and confirmed May 18, 1941 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Willow Lake Township, Sanborn, Minnesota. She attended elementary school at District 67, Sanborn, Minnesota and Mankato Commercial College. Elsie was employed as a bookkeeper in Mankato from 1959 to 1995. She retired in 1995 and moved to Redwood Falls where she was employed as part-time hostess at the Valley Supper Club from 1995 to 2006. She was an active member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Willow Lake Township, Sanborn, Minnesota.

Elsie is survived by her 12 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Walter, Edwin and John, sisters Helen, Leona and Emma (Mrs. Edwin Timm) and niece Elvera Timm.
