Ella Arnett, 98, formerly of Redwood Falls passed away, surrounded by family members, on March 15, 2012 in Blaine, Washington. A graveside memorial gathering in celebration of her life was held at the Redwood Falls Cemetery on March 31, 2012.

Ella Arnett, the daughter of Lottie and Nate Storts, was born October 11, 1913 in Hecla, South Dakota. Ella married Harold Arnett and the couple settled on the Arnett Homestead farm, four miles north and west of Redwood Falls. There they raised their three children – Shirley (Don) Nelson of Bellingham, Washington, Joyce (Bob) King of Minneapolis, and Roger (Patricia Zimmerman) Arnett of Rochester; and their granddaughter Lori DeMent of Ferndale, Washington.
Ella is survived by her three children; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; sisters Grace, Louise, and Ruth; brothers Harry and Floyd; and a grandson.
