Darlene Adeline Teick

Darlene Teick, 89, of Redwood Falls died Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Season’s hospice in Redwood Falls. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 11, 2018 from First Presbyterian Church in Redwood Falls with burial to follow in Redwood Falls Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday, from 10 until 11 a.m.

Arrangements are with Nelson-Hillestad Funeral and Cremation Service of Redwood Falls. Condolences may be sent via .

Darlene Adeline Teick, the daughter of Orin and Lydia (Simning) Davis, was born November 10, 1928 in Wabasso. As a young child Darlene moved with her family to Redwood Falls where she grew up and received her formal education.

On December 17, 1945, Darlene married Richard Teick and they made their home in Redwood Falls. Family was most important to Darlene. She was also employed in the bakery at Red Owl and later worked at Artesyn. Darlene enjoyed gardening, polka dancing, flowers, quilting, bird watching, and going to the casino. She loved fishing, sitting by the campfire, and being at the lake.

Darlene is survived by her son Gary (Joleen) Teick of Redwood Falls; daughter Sandi (Lon) Isaacson of St. Cloud; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Richard in 1998.
