Constance Braun, 49, of Redwood Falls died Tuesday, September 20, 2011 in Minot, North Dakota. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2011 from St. Cornelia’s Episcopal Church/Bishop Whipple Mission on the Lower Sioux Community. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Lower Sioux Community Hall and will continue until the time of service on Saturday.

Constance Lora Braun, the daughter of Marion Welch and Roberta Jean Leith, was born October 13, 1961 in St. Louis Park. She was raised in Hopkins and graduated from Eisenhower High School.
On August 8, 2008, Constance married Dean Braun and they made their home in Redwood Falls. She was a member of St. Cornelia’s Episcopal Church. Constance enjoyed gardening, canning, golfing – especially golfing with her sister, 4-wheeling, fishing, spending time outdoors, and watching the “Survivor” television series. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Constance was very proud of her children and their accomplishments and she dearly loved her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Dean of Redwood Falls; children Anthony (Amie) Johnson of Redwood Falls, and Thomas (Brandi) Johnson of Milaca; grandchildren Kaleb, Keegan, and Kooper; brother Robert John (Theresa) Welch of Morgan; and sister Karen (Ryd) Midthun of Redwood Falls. She was preceded in death by her mother, and her brother Kevin.
