She attended country school for 2 years, then St Raphael School, graduated from Springfield Public High School in 1974 and later attended Willmar Vocation School. Throughout her life journey, she cherished her family dearly and found joy in simple pleasures like spending time with her kids, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her loyal companion, Scooby. She shared a special bond with her husband Dwight Bluhm as they ventured on adventures together 4-wheeling and exploring new places side by side. Fishing was another passion that brought her solace and contentment.

Connie's life was one filled with love and commitment. In 1975 she married Ronald Rykhus before finding lasting love with Dwight Bluhm whom she married in August of 1995 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Morgan. Their union was blessed with over 28 wonderful years of marriage filled with love and companionship. Connie was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Morgan.

Professionally, Connie devoted many years of service as a waitress at various establishments including the 4-19 Cafe in Fairfax, Jackpot Junction for 33 years, and eventually part-time at Kwik Trip in Redwood Falls. Her dedication and hard work left an indelible mark on all those she served.

Connie is now reunited with her father LeRoy Weisensel, stepfather Albert Ebnet, and brother Duane Weisensel who have gone before her. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will forever be cherished by those she held dear. Connie is survived by her devoted husband Dwight Bluhm; daughters Renee DeZeeuw (Justin), Shari Bundy, Kim Bluhm (special friend Keith); 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; mother, Madonna Ebnet; sisters Sharon Sehr, Joyce Haas (Gene), LeAnn Jensen, Krisi Hoffmann (Ben); brothers Jeff Weisensel (Stacey), Keith Weisensel (Jill); along with numerous relatives and friends.
