In 2022, Bonnie made a significant move from South Carolina to join her family, seeking the joyful company of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. This transition marked a beautiful chapter in her life, where the laughter and warmth of family surrounded her every day. Gardening was more than a hobby for Bonnie; it was her sanctuary and her way to connect with nature's beauty-an enduring passion that brought her immense peace and happiness.
Bonnie's legacy lives on through her daughter, Barb Vigil of Milroy, three other children, who carries forward their mother's strength and kindness. Her brother, Gordan Affield of Florida, remains a steadfast presence in the lives of those who loved Bonnie, as do her seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, all of whom were touched profoundly by her gentle spirit.
Bonnie Ann Heuer's life was a testament to the enduring power of family, the joy found in nature, and the quiet strength of a woman who loved deeply and lived fully. Her presence will be dearly missed, but her spirit will continue to bloom in the hearts of all who knew her.
May she rest in peace.
