Allan G. Hacker, 82, of Morgan, passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at his home in Morgan, Minnesota. A Public Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 26, 2021 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Morgan, Minnesota. A public visitation will be held at the church on Monday, from 9 until 11 a.m.

Allan was born on January 31, 1939 to Joseph and Anna (Reding) Hacker in Morgan, Minnesota. Allan grew up on the family farm by Morgan, attended St. Michael’s Catholic School till the 8th grade. Allan married Ruth Kunz on June 6, 1964 at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church in Madelia, Minnesota. Together they farmed and raised their children, a son and a daughter.
Allan was a life-long member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, where he was involved with Knights of Columbus and served on the St. Michael’s Parish Board. He was also active in the New Ulm Gem & Mineral Club, serving as a president, and Morgan Lions Club.
Allan enjoyed rock hunting, jewelry making, fishing, being at the cabin on Smith Lake, woodworking, farming, watching the Vikings, Twins and Gophers. And above all he enjoyed watching his grandchildren grow up.
Allan is survived by his wife, Ruth Hacker of Morgan; Children-Scott (Theresa) Hacker of Morgan and Brenda (Christopher) Koenigs of Hugo, Minnesota; Grandchildren-Hannah, Haley, Abbie and April Hacker, and Henry Koenigs; Brother- Andy Hacker of Sleepy Eye and sister in law- Lucille Hacker of Morgan. Brother in laws-Vincent Kunz and Gregory Kunz; Sister in laws-Gloria Weldon and Mary Kunz.
Allan is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Anna Hacker; brother-Clem, sisters-Irene (Art) Wintheiser and Doris Rehder; brother in laws-Dominic Kunz, Bernard Kunz, Paul Weldon; sister in laws-Marge Hacker and Kathryn Kunz.
