Alexis Durant

Alexis L. Durant, 24, of Morton passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at her home in Morton, Minnesota. Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 from the St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Redwood Falls. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 31, 2023, from 9 until 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be held at a later date.

 Alexis LeeAnn Durant, the daughter of Jeremy and Lacy (Cantwell) Durant, was born September 30, 1999 in Lincoln, NE. She grew up in Morton and attended Redwood Valley High School.

 Alexis enjoyed traveling to Arkansas with her brother, Tristen, to visit their mother’s side of the family every summer. They share many memories fishing, camping and riding 4 wheeler. Alexis made friends easily and often. She was loved by many and touched the hearts of everyone who got to meet her.

Alexis is survived by her dad, Jeremy Durant of Junction City, OR, brothers, Tristen Durant of Morton, MN and Ashton Dozier of Lincoln, NE; grandparents, Rodney and Cathy Greenslit of Morton, MN, Claudia Cantwell of Alpena, AR and Alan Durant of Renville, MN; Aunt’s, Carrie (Chad) Luckhardt of Morton, MN, Christal (Jeff) Barton of Rochester, MN, Tamera (Dustin) Dean of Harrison, AR, Uncle, Ty (Jamie) Cantwell of Alpena, AR and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lacy Jo (Cantwell) Durant.

Alexis deserved more in this world than the life she was given. She will be forever missed. Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers.
