Sandra DeGroat

Sandra DeGroat, age 68, of Redwood Falls, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at The Villa of St. Louis Park after a battle with cancer. Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, December 21, 2018 at the Nelson-Hillestad Funeral Home in Redwood Falls. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, all at the Nelson-Hillestad Funeral Home. Burial will be held at a later date in the Redwood Falls Cemetery.

Sandra Kay DeGroat, the daughter of Kenneth D. and Leona M. (Welch) DeGroat, was born on December 8, 1950 in Redwood Falls. She graduated from Mound High School in 1968. Sandra lived in Tonka Bay, Minnesota, Mound, Minnesota and also Redwood Falls. She worked as a postal carrier in Chanhassen for 10 years.

Sandra loved spending time with family and friends.

Sandra is survived by her sons, Kenneth O’Neil of Zimmerman and Jeremy O’Neil of Monticello; and 4 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister.
