Richard “Dick” Balko, 75, of Redwood Falls died Sunday, September 7, 2014 at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 from St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls with military honors to follow. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, from noon until 2 p.m., at the church. Arrangements are with Nelson-Martin Funeral Service of Redwood Falls. He grew up on the family farm and received his formal education in Redwood Falls Public Schools, graduating with the Redwood Falls High School Class of 1956.
