Mirinda L. Caneff

Mirinda Lynn Caneff, age 57, of Morgan, MN died quickly and unexpectedly on December 4th, 2020 due to a complicated battle with her health. Her family is shocked and deeply saddened by her loss. Mirinda's final hoorah will be Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 2pm at Nelson-Hillestad in Redwood Falls, MN.

Mirinda was born on July 24, 1963 to Lawrence (Larry) and Elizabeth (Lizzy) Caneff in Waterloo, IA; the first of 5 girls. The Caneff Clan moved to the Hastings, MN area where Mirinda spent most of her life. She is preceded in death by her mother, Lizzy Caneff.
The great love of Mirinda's life was her family. She is survived by her father, Larry Caneff, 4 sisters: Tina Spaeth, Teresa Vogl, Denise Winter and Jennifer Kaase; her pride was invested in her children John (Shannon) Caneff, Melissa (Isaac) Ekstrom, and Cassandra Larson (Josh), 14 cherished grandchildren, many adored nieces, nephews and loved ones. She made the world a better place because she saw the good in each of us. May we always see the good in others.
Mirinda loved fiercely and lived to serve others. The glowing smile that swept across her face when someone excitedly shouted "Aunt Rinda!" or "Nana!" was bright enough to shatter any darkness. Mirinda's legacy is not in the things she left behind, but in the people whose heart she touched. Her thumbprint is etched in the fabric of our memories; we were lucky to have her.
