She was raised on the family farm near Cobden and received her formal education in Springfield Public Schools. Maxine graduated from Springfield High School in 1963.

On May 2, 1965, Maxine married Wayne Timm at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Springfield. The couple made their home in Morgan their entire married life. Maxine was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Morgan and the Ladies’ Guild. She was employed as a cashier at Becker’s Super Valu for many years; Maxine then began working as a blackjack dealer at Jackpot Junction, a job she enjoyed until her retirement – 18-1/2 years later – in 2010. In her spare time, she also enjoyed gardening and camping with her family.

Maxine is survived by her husband of 46 years, Wayne; her children Pamela (Steven) Ardolf of St. Peter, John Timm of Morgan, and Jeffrey (Audra) Timm of Richfield; grandchildren Holly, Alex, Christina, and Jordan; sister JoAnne Wagner of Inver Grove Heights; brothers James (Joyce) Bloemke of Springfield, and Jerry Bloemke and friend Fran Lewellen of Minneapolis; and sister-in-law Carol Dittbenner of Morgan. She was preceded in death by her brother Arthur “Bud” Bloemke.

Blessed be her memory.
