MaryAnn Kerkhoff, 93, of Morgan, passed away at Gil Mor Manor in Morgan on Monday, May 9, 2022. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 16, 2022 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Morgan. Visitation will be held from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 16 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Morgan. Burial will follow at St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery.

MaryAnn (Wagner) Kerkhoff, born July 21, 1928 in Redwood Falls, Minnesota. MaryAnn was the third child of Joseph Jr. and Laura (Heiling) Wagner. She attended grade schools in the Morgan, Clements, and Lucan area. MaryAnn graduated from Milroy High School in 1946. She worked at the JCPenny store in Redwood Falls until 1947. On August 26, 1947 MaryAnn married Dalbert Kerkhoff at Our Lady of Victory Church in Lucan. Together they lived in the Morgan area and farmed for many years. MaryAnn worked various jobs after marriage. She was employed at Cardinal Café in Redwood Falls, Fingerhut in Bird Island, and at the drug store and bank in Morgan, until retiring July 30, 1990. She enjoyed spending time with family, playing cards, and being with relative and friends.
She is survived by her sons; Ron of Franklin, Dennis of Morgan, and Gary (Deb) of Franklin; daughters, Patty of Morgan, Karen (Jerry) Panitzke of Glenwood, Marsha of Redwood Falls, Rhonda Mace of New London; daughter-in-law, Denise Kerkhoff of Redwood Falls; 21 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; brother, Laurence (Judy) Wagner of Byron; sister, Dorothy Thompson of New Ulm; sister-in-law, Lorraine Kerkhoff of Deerwood.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Jr. and Laura Wagner; husband, Dalbert Kerkhoff on November 29, 1998; sons, Stan Kerkhoff on June 8, 1987 and Randy Kerkhoff on March 29, 2017; daughter-in-law, Barb Kerkhoff on October 22, 2008; sisters, Alice Beert on September 24, 1958 and Irene Eiler on May 28, 1999; and granddaughter, Shannon Havemier on November 21, 2011.
