Leona Brown, 92, died Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Redwood Area Hospital in Redwood Falls. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 22, 2013 at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Redwood Falls. Burial will follow in the Redwood Falls Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 21, 2013, from 4 until 8 p.m,. at Nelson-Martin Funeral Home in Redwood Falls and will continue on Friday at the church for one hour prior to services. Leona Eleanor Brown was born July 7, 1920 in New Avon Township in Redwood County, Minnesota to Henry and Elsie (Raddatz) Geske. She was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church in Willow Lake, confirmed at Bethany Lutheran Church in Wabasso, attended country school in rural Wabasso and later Wabasso Public School.
