Joyce “Joy” Rhoden, 79, of Walker died February 24, 2014 in Clermont, Florida. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2014 from Nelson-Martin Funeral Home in Redwood Falls with inurnment to follow in St. Catherine’s Catholic Cemetery, Redwood Falls. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 until 10 a.m.

Joyce Yvonne Rhoden was born October 1, 1934 in Grand Forks, North Dakota. She was a Charm School graduate, earned an associate degree in Art, and was a member of the Walker Art League.

Her family remembers her elegant, model-quality beauty. They are blessed with the award-winning artistic paintings she shared throughout the years.

Joyce is survived by her sons Jeffrey Rhoden of Clermont, Florida, and Steven Rhoden of Denver, Colorado; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her companion Bim Moeglin of Walker; and her sister Jan Revier of Redwood Falls. She was preceded in death by her father Leonard Singer and her mother Marie Soiney.
