James "Jim" Ralph Mann

James “Jim” Mann, 75, of Delhi died Thursday, October 8, 2015 at his home. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 from First Presbyterian Church in Redwood Falls with burial at a later date. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12, 2015, from 5 until 7 p.m., at Nelson-Hillestad Funeral Home in Redwood Falls and will continue on Tuesday at the church from 10 until 11 a.m.

James Ralph Mann, the son of Ralph and Lois (Lechner) Mann, was born November 9, 1939 in Redwood Falls. Jim lived in the Redwood Falls area his entire life and graduated from Redwood Falls High school in 1957. He was employed as a truck driver for Larry Schefus Trucking. In his spare time Jim enjoyed hunting and fishing, gardening and bird watching. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, his dog, and his cat.

Jim is survived by his children Ryan (Amber) Mann of Garden City, Randy (Tracy) Mann of Delhi, Jeff (Shannon) Mann of Mapleton, Amy (Walter) Burg of Redwood Falls, and Gary (Nancy) Krueger of Puposky. Also surviving are his grandchildren Taylor, Kaylee, Jordan, Logan, Carson, Brooklyn, Evan, Owen, Ian, and Ashton Mann, Shyla and Shelby Burg, Samantha and Nathan Krueger, and Andrew Pruitt; a great-grandson on the way; brother Wayne Mann of Wabasso; and sister Marianne Waidelich of Morgan. Jim was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Lois Mann; and brothers Robert Mann and Gerald Mann.
