Hal Lee Minsaas, age 67, of Redwood Falls, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at the Seasons Hospice House in Redwood Falls. Funeral Services will be Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 11:00 am at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls with burial to be in the Olivia Cemetery in Olivia. Visitation will be Thursday, September 30 from 10:00 until 11:00 am at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church.

Hal Lee Minsaas was born October 4, 1953 in Willmar, Minnesota to Eldor and Harriett (Griffith) Minsaas. The family moved to Redwood Falls where he grew up and attended Redwood Falls High School graduating in 1971. He then attended Luther College in Decorah, Iowa graduating in 1975. Hal lived and worked in Redwood Falls before moving to California where had a great time. He returned to Redwood Falls in 1979 working at MPI and Zytec, until 2000, He also worked part time for KLGR radio as an announcer.

Hal was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls. He enjoyed music, especially Classical, watching old movies, technology and computers.

Hal Minsaas is survived by his sister Judy Erickson of Chico, California, two nephews Russell (Kathy) Erickson of Chico, California and Ryan (Erica) Erickson also of California. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eldor and Harriet Minsaas.
