Evelyn R. Wertish, 99, of Redwood Falls passed away Monday, August 12, 2013 at Seasons in Redwood Falls. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 16, 2013 from St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Redwood Falls with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 15, 2013, from 4 until 7 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Nelson-Martin Funeral Home in Redwood Falls. Visitation will continue on Friday at the church for one hour prior to services. Arrangements are with Nelson-Martin Funeral Service of Redwood Falls. Evelyn Rose Wertish, the daughter of Joseph and Nettie (Kadlec) Kopacek, was born July 20, 1914 on the family farm in Kingman Township, Renville County, Minnesota.
