Dora Alma Kamholz

Dora Alma Hertha Kamholz, 100, passed away Friday, June 29, 2012 at Gil-Mor Manor in Morgan. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 6, 2012 from St. John’s Lutheran Church in Morgan with burial to follow in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday for one hour prior to services.

Dora Kamholz, the daughter of Clara (Fenske) and William Drusch, was born September 9, 1911 in Morgan Township, Redwood County. She graduated from Morgan High School.
On April 22, 1943, Dora married Elmer G. Kamholz at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Morgan. She spent most of her adult years in Morgan where she was a lifelong member of St. John’s Church. Dora enjoyed being a homemaker, occasionally working outside the home. She very much enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles; Dora was also a loyal Twins fan following each season on radio and TV.
She is survived by her son, Calvin Kamholz, and his wife Sharon of Mounds View, along with two grandchildren, Michael of Gibbon and Becki and her husband, Thomas Schorn of Zimmerman. Dora was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer G. Kamholz, as well as 14 siblings.
