Delores Scheer, 78, of Redwood Falls died Monday, September 5, 2016 at Wood Dale Home in Redwood Falls. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 8, 2016 from Nelson-Hillestad Funeral Home in Redwood Falls with inurnment to follow in the Redwood Falls Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 10 until 11 a.m., at the funeral home. Arrangements are with Nelson-Hillestad Funeral and Cremation Service of Redwood Falls. E-mail condolences may be sent via www.nelson-hillestad.com. Delores Lorraine Scheer, the daughter of Vern “Tiny” and Irene (Fish) Pratt, was born November 19, 1937 in Redwood Falls. She grew up and received her formal education in Redwood Falls. Delores married Herman Scheer and they made their home in North Redwood. He preceded her in death in 1983. Delores is survived by her sons Doug Scheer of Lamberton and Dean (Barb) Scheer of Redwood Falls; eight grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; brother Dwayne “Sonny” Pratt of Washington, Iowa; sister Ruth Vest of Keota, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Herman, brother Billy Pratt, and sister Janice Gullickson. Blessed be her memory.
