Delores Agnes Guetter, the daughter of Joseph Ourada, Sr. and Victoria (Kidrowski) Ourada, was born March 26, 1922 in Westline Township, Redwood County, Minnesota. She was raised on the farm in Westline Township and received her formal education in District 79 country school and Walnut Grove High School.

On June 30, 1953, Delores married Anthony Guetter at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Lucan. The couple resided on their dairy farm in rural Wabasso where Delores worked alongside her husband. He preceded her in death in March 1979. Delores stayed on the farm where she continued the dairy operation; ultimately the registered dairy herd earned her the Premier Dairyman Award and Top Cow Milk Production award. In 1986 Delores retired and moved into Wabasso.

She was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Wabasso until 2005 and a member of St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Redwood Falls since then. At St. Anne’s, Delores served as chair and co-chair of the church circle and as secretary for the Diocesan CCW President. She also helped with church cleaning, funerals and so on. Delores belonged to Redwood County Extension and the Wabasso Legion Auxiliary where she served as president and secretary.

She is survived by her daughters Juanita Guetter of Redwood Falls, and Vicki Guetter of Wabasso; sisters-in-law Theresa Fischer of Wabasso, Kate Tingelhoff of West Point, Nebraska, and Rosemary Ourada of Eden Valley; and brothers-in-law Alphonse Guetter and Alois Guetter, both of Wabasso. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Anthony; and her brothers Sylvester, Norman, Joseph Jr., Vincent, and Clarence.

Blessed be her memory.
